Die dortige Universität kam auf die unglaubliche Idee, Thelonious Monk für ein Konzert zur Verständigung von Schwarz und Wei� einzuladen. Nach vielen Komplikationen fand das Konzert schlie�lich statt. Es wurde ein Triumph für Monk und die Veranstalter. Impulse! Records veröffentlicht jetzt die wiederentdeckte Aufnahme dieses nicht nur musikalisch historischen Events erstmals auf LP, CD und digital.
