Absolutego ist das erste Studioalbum der japanischen Experimentalband Boris, dass ursprÃ¼nglich 1996 erschienen ist. BORIS ist ein Trio aus Japan, das Doom-Noise produziert. Aboslutege ist nur ein einziger Track, der aber dafÃ¼r knapp Ã¼ber 60 Minuten geht! Im Jahr 2001 wurde dieses Album von Southern Lord Records mit einem alternativen Cover neu gemastert und als Absolutego+ (Special Low Frequency Version) als Hommage an Earth 2 neu etikettiert. 1997 wurde ein Bonus-Drohnen-Track aufgenommen, dessen Titel 4 Jahre spÃ¤ter fÃ¼r ein Album namens Dronevil wiederverwendet werden sollte (ein Trend, der sich mit zwei Alben mit dem Titel Heavy Rocks fortsetzte, eines 2002 und ein weiteres 2011). Nun kommt das legendÃ¤re Album inklusive des Tracks "Dronevil 2" Ã¼ber Third Man als Vinyl und zum allerersten mal auch digital raus! -

Using overpowering soundscapes embellished with copious amounts of lighting and billow smoke, Boris has shared with audiences across the planet an experience for all five senses in their concerts, earning legions of zealous fans along the way. Absolutego is a trek over a staggering mountain of sound. The tension builds with wave after wave of massive feedback, drums leading into a crushing crescendo of full-band repetition and clarity before descending deeper until finally reaching a surreal divebomb purring drone finale. This song takes notes out of the Melvins playbook and pushes the sound to it's absolute logical and visceral extreme. It sets a solid foundation for why Boris is considered to be one of the most important metal bands of the 21st century.
