He joined the Miles Davis Quintet that summer, cementing a seminal lineup in jazz history. On Christmas Eve, the transcendent Speak No Evil was created by Shorter/Freddie Hubbard/Herbie Hancock/Ron Carter/Elvin Jones. Features the sublime ballad "Infant Eyes".
