atemlos und elegant, irgendwo zwischen London und Köln. Mindestens.
â??I Want To See Everythingâ??... wie entwaffnend unironisch schon gleich dieser erste Slogan ist.
Sparkling suchen nicht nach coolen Posen, sie wollen mit ihrer energetischen Musik einfach
raus in die Welt. Das multilinguale Album macht es den drei Kölnern dabei leicht, denn es
spricht eine Universal-Sprache in Pop, die dabei weit über das angebotene Deutsch,
Englisch, Französisch der Lyrics hinausgeht.
Vielleicht ist das ja diesem Aufenthalt in London vor ein paar Jahren geschuldet, als sie sich
dort für eine Zeit mit irgendwelchen Hilfsjobs durchschlugen und in jener europäischen
Pop-Hauptstadt täglich Konzerte besuchten - oder selbst gaben. Was sollten sie auch zu
dritt in dem 12- Quadratmeter-Zimmer abhängen, das sie sich dort (kaum) leisten konnten?
Feststeht in jedem Fall, dass ihr Sound die globale Verhei�ung von Pop so gut einlöst, wie
es schon lange kein Act mehr getan hat - und schon gar keiner aus Deutschland. Wer beim
Musikhören auf Schwei� und Euphorie aus ist, findet hier endlich wieder einen Ort, an dem
beides in Strömen flie�t. Dieses Album fühlt sich so verdammt richtig an. - Printed inner sleeve with lyrics.
