Like, ā??OK, Iā??m in. Thatā??s what I want to beā??. If I had a time machine, Iā??d have been born in ā??46, turned twenty in ā??66 ā?? and come here, to London.ā?
Co-writing Royal Tea with a cast of homegrown notables including former Whitesnake guitarist Bernie Marsden, ex-Cream lyricist Pete Brown and national-treasure piano man Jools Holland ā?? not to mention trolleydashing Denmark Streetā??s guitar shops for British-made amps ā?? only added to the vibe. ā??Writing this record in London has done its job,ā? reflects Bonamassa. ā??It really does sound inherently British. Bernie and I, we finish each otherā??s sentences. Weā??re cut from the same cloth. One of the things about Bernie is, I just have to ask him, ā??What would the British do?ā??
