| Description: | Hubris is an album by Paul Behnam, released in 2020. Hubris includes a.o. the following tracks: ā??Party Going Wrongā?, ā??Confettisā?, ā??Draw The Lineā?, ā??Tempelhofer Walkā? and more. The album is a pop LP. - HUBRIS is a feature film written, directed and produced by Marie Polo. Shot during 4 years between Berlin and the Fontainebleau Forest near Paris, the film is about the healing process of a young woman - Alice - who experienced a traumatic experience she does not have any visual memory of. The film is structured as a sophrology session during which the audience enters different layers of body memory of Alice, going back and forth between the present and the nightmarish visions of her past trauma.
The soundtrack features a collaboration with San Proper (Perlon, Rush Hour), playing his own role in the film and singing on « Dr. Proper ». Italian pianist and lyricist Andrea Monticciolo delivers a moving performance on « Oma Ooh Salem », while Louis McGuire and pandeiro player Adriano Tikogo invites us to a gloomy dance on Pandeiro Show.
All tracks written and performed by Paul Behnam, except Pandeiro Show written by Louis McGuire.
