| | Description: | For his new album, Valer teamed with the renowned Ensemble Kammerorchester Basel under the direction of violinist Julia Schrƶder and chose arias by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) and arias from the less known operas by Georg Philipp Telemann (1681-1767).

The album includes arias from Bachā??s cantatas ā??Ich habe genugā??, ā??VergnĆ¼gte Ruh beliebte Seelenlustā?? and ā??Lasst uns sorgen, lasst uns wachenā??, the aria ā??Et exsultavit spiritus meusā?¯ from Magnificat in D Major and the aria "Laudamus teā?¯ from the Mass in B Minor. Valer also picked arias from less known Singspiels by Telemann, "Miriwaysā?? and ā??Sieg der Schƶnheitā?¯, and an aria from Telemann's opera "Flavius Bertaridusā?¯. The album includes an instrumental piece by Bach, the famous Violin Concerto in E Major. - KAMMERORCHESTER BASEL/JULIA SCHRODERValer Sabadus belongs to the most successful countertenors in the Baroque music scene. He has been awarded several prestigious prizes for his recordings, including the ECHO Klassik 2012 and 2015.
