Hype sticker: "Six covers of Funk and Disco classics recorded 1975-1977 by San Francisco producer and creator of Hi-NRG early on in his career. Songs by [a17964], [a3865], [a6270], [a28332] and Bazuka. 7 94811 51531 9 Made in Canada". This album is dedicated to the memory of Patrick Cowley (October 19, 1950 - November 12, 1982) and Francesca Rosa (November 9, 1954 - October 3, 2016). All songs from Short Circuit archives courtesy Maurice Tani. Thank You: Maurice Tani, Joe Tarantino, Francesca Rosa, James Cowley, George Horn and Eloise Leigh. Track 7 & 8 are bonus tracks for CD / digital release only. Track 3 / 6 : "Spiked Punch" is an interpolation of "Chameleon" by Herbie Hancock. Track 5 cover version taken from [m234216]. Tracks 1 and 7 Do It Any Way You Wanna are co-credited on release to [a294477], which appears to be an error.
