John Prine (Live) jetzt zum ersten Mal auf Vinyl erhÃ¤ltlich. John Prine Live wurde hauptsÃ¤chlich wÃ¤hrend eines dreitÃ¤gigen Aufenthaltes im The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, Kalifornien, aufgezeichnet. Es wurde auf Oh Boy Records, Prines eigenem Independent-Label, verÃ¶ffentlicht. Die Version von "Angel From Montgomery" wurde bei einem All-Star-Gedenkkonzert fÃ¼r Steve Goodman (der 1984 an LeukÃ¤mie starb) aufgenommen, das im Januar 1985 in Chicago stattfand, und spÃ¤ter im selben Jahr als Tribute To Steve Goodman verÃ¶ffentlicht. Prine wird von Bonnie Raitt (die "Angel From Montgomery" auf ihrem 1974er Streetlights-Album aufnahm) und dem Gitarristen David Bromberg begleitet. Die Version von "Souvenirs" stammt aus einem Auftritt von Prine und Goodman aus den 1970er Jahren in der Fernsehsendung Austin City Limits. - YELLOW VINYL
