Sic Lvceat Lvx by Schammasch, released 19 February 2021, includes the following tracks: "Chaos Reigns", "Black But Shining", "The Venom Of Gods" and more. This version of Sic Lvceat Lvx comes as a 1x12". The vinyl is pressed as a opaque disc. -

Limited vinyl LP pressing. Formed in 2009, the Swiss group Schammasch combines a forward approach to modern black metal, articulating their extreme roots with doom-laden atmospherics dredged with Hermetic mysticism. The band, whose name derives from Babylonian sun god Samas, signed to Prosthetic in 2014 to release Contradiction, which Metal Hammer lauded as "one of the most overwhelming albums of the year... cerebral and utterly absorbing." Schammasch's 2010 debut opus Sic Lvceat Lvx, which translates from Latin to "Let the Light Shine," consists of seven hypnotic, cinematic tracks.

2020 repress on white and red splatter vinyl. This vinyl edition is limited to 500 worldwide. Sic Lvceat Lvx was recorded at Baalhammer Studio, Switzerland in May 2010. Engineered & mixed by Oliver Hämmerle in June 2010. Mastered by V. Santura in January 2015. Cover artwork on this vinyl edition by Metastazis. Layout design by C.S.R.
