The loveable TV icon leaves Sheriff Andy Taylor and his Mayberry roots far behind in the action sci-fi TV series of the late '70s. Griffith is just as likable as he dons the persona of Harry Broderick, who runs a unique salvage business. Harry is so into what he does that he even builds a homemade spaceship so he and his partners can venture out into space, collect all the abandoned scrap left behind out there and bring it all home to sell. These two feature length episodes beautifully capture the essence of the show. Includes "Salvage 1: Golden Orbit" in which Harry and the boys try to retrieve a communications satellite that happens to be loaded with gold and "Salvage 1: Hard Water" which finds Harry trying to help direct an iceberg out of the path of the US Navy shipping lanes. 1979/color/3 hrs, 44 min/NR/fullscreen.
