 | Description: | This was the first studio album for IMPULSE! by the great tenor saxophonist Sonny Rollins(b. 1930) recorded in New Jersey on July 8, 1965 with Ray Bryant(piano); Walter Booker(bass) & Mickey Roker(drums).
All five numbers are gems including four standards and the exuberant calypso 'Hold 'Em Joe'.
