DebÃ¼talbum der legendÃ¤ren finnischen Prog-Rock Band. Tasavallan Presidentti waren zusammen mit Wigwam in der ersten Progressive Rock-Welle Anfang der siebziger Jahre Finnlands wichtigster Musik-Export. Svart Records hat in Zusammenarbeit mit den Bandmitgliedern neue Ausgaben ihrer klassischen Alben auf Vinyl und CD vorbereitet. Tasavallan Presidenttis gleichnamiges DebÃ¼talbum, das 1969 bei Love Records verÃ¶ffentlicht wurde, markierte den Beginn der produktivsten Zeit der Band mit dem ursprÃ¼nglichen LeadsÃ¤nger, dem in England geborenen Ex-Patrioten Frank Robson. Die Neuauflage von Svart erweitert die ursprÃ¼ngliche LP-Verpackung in ein Gatefold, mit vollstÃ¤ndigen Texten im Inneren, und fÃ¼gt eine BroschÃ¼re mit neuen Interviews mit der Band sowie seltenen Fotografien hinzu. Reissue on golden Yellow vinyl; includes booklet with band members interview in september 2020. Comes in gatefold sleeve, with track-specific author and production information and lyrics on the inside cover. The 12" contains the four tracks from the two singles from 1969-1970, "Time Alone With You / Obsolete Machine" and "Solitary / Deep Thinker". TEXT ON HYPE STICKER: Tasavallan Presidentti, along with Wigwam, were Finland's top export act in the days of the first wave of progressive rock. Svart Records have, in co-operation with the band members, prepared new editions of these classic records on vinyl and CD, for the ages. The Svart reissue expands the original jacket to gatefold, with full lyrics printed inside, and also adds a booklet with new interviews with the band plus rare photographs. Also features four bonus tracks.
