EXTRA: 11-song collection including an unheard Pylon precursor, the "Cool" b/w "Dub" single, the rare song "Recent Title," the original single mix of "Crazy," five previously unreleased studio and live recordings, and more. BOOK: Hardbound, 216-page, full color book featuring pieces written by the members of R.E.M., Jon King & Hugo Burnham of Gang of Four, Corin Tucker and Carrie Brownstein of Sleater-Kinney, Steve Albini, Steve Shelley of Sonic Youth, Kate Pierson of B-52's, Bradford Cox of Deerhunter, Sam Fogarino of Interpol, Anthony DeCurtis, Calvin Johnson of Beat Happening and K Records, Steve Wynn of the Dream Syndicate, Clint Conley of Mission of Burma, Chris Stamey of the dB's, among others.
