Proud Words on a Dusty Shelf featured (ex) Uriah Heep keyboard player Ken Hensley, bassist Gary Thain and drummer Lee Kerslake. It was released when Uriah Heep was at the peak of it's rising to fame. Each side of the LP opens with a wonderful piece of heavy prog. It is simultaneously a lost Uriah Heep album and a solo statement by Ken Hensley which offers something a bit different yet totally familiar. This release contains 2 bonus tracks: 'From Time To Time' (Single Version) and 'When Evening Comes' (Single Version). 'Proud Words on a Dusty Shelf'.
