Mercy ist Natalie Bergmans Debüt, ein selbst produziertes Soloalbum, das in dieser seltsamen Zeit aufgenommen wurde, die wir gerade alle durchleben. Es ist geprägt von tiefster Traurigkeit und ihrer Neuerfindung als Künstlerin und wurde im Studio ihres Bruders in Los Angeles aufgenommen. Natalie Bergman hat bereits eine lange und erfolgreiche Karriere als eine Hälfte des Bruder-Schwester-Duos Wild Belle hinter sich. Dies ist jedoch das erste Mal, dass sie das gesamte songaterial selbst schrieb und einspielte. Das Album strotzt förmlich vor originellen und zutiefst kathartisch Stücken. Es sollte auch erwähnt werden, dass Natalie die Songs dieses Album schrieb, nachdem sie ihren Vater bei einem LKW Unfall verloren hatte.
