Formé en 1996 à Bayonne par les frères Joe (chant/guitare) et Mario Duplantier (batterie), accompagnés de Christian Andreu à la guitare et Jean-Michel Labadie à la basse,Gojira s?est imposé comme un pilier du métal moderne grâce à ses prestations scéniques intenses et ses textes engagés autour de l?écologie.Leurs précédents albums tels que « From Mars to Sirius » ou « Magma » leur ont valu plusieurs nominations aux Grammy Awards ainsi qu?un public fidèle dans le monde entier.
