Description:Star guitarist and Echo winner Milos is back with a brand new album: "The Moon & The Forest". After successes such as â??Mediterraneoâ? and â??Latinoâ?, Milos now presents â??The Forrest & The Moonâ?, an album with guitar concerts specially arranged for him by well-known film composers. In close cooperation with the four-time Grammy winner Howard Shore (The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit) and Joby Talbot (The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Sing), fascinating new interpretations were created. On "The Forrest & The Moon" the listener can expect an unmistakable, cinematic sound spectacle of a special kind. The album also includes works from Ludovico Einaudi's 'Full Moon' and Robert Schumann's 'Träumerei' specially arranged for solo guitar by Milos. "This new music is my own fairytale come true - two world premiere concerto recordings and two beautiful new transcriptions." - Milos - WORKS BY HOWARD SHORE/ROBERT SCHUMANN/JOBY TALBOT
Milos Karadaglic - "The Moon & The Forest" Acclaimed guitarist MILOS presents a stunning new album of two world premiere guitar concertos - both written for him by legendary Canadian film composer Howard Shore (Lord of the Rings) and multi-disciplinary British US-based composer Joby Talbot. MILOS worked closely with both composers to push boundaries for his instrument in a fresh, contemporary cinematic approach, carving out two new pillars in the canon of guitar repertoire to be cherished by generations to come.
