Die Doom Metal-Band HANGING GARDEN verÃ¶ffentlicht ihr 7. Studio-Album mit dem Titel â??Sekelton Lakeâ? auf Lifeforce Records. HANGING GARDEN ist eine Melodic Doom/Death Metal Band aus Mikkeli, Etela-Savo/Helsinki, Uusimaa. Sie wurden bereits 2004 gegrÃ¼ndet und von Matti Reinola und Ari Nieminen ins Leben gerufen. Dies ist ihr siebtes Full-Length-Album und das erste seit dem 2019er Album ''Into the Good Night''. Vorab wurde die Single â??Winterâ??s Kissâ? samt Musikvideo verÃ¶ffentlicht. Die Band kommentiert: â??â??Winterâ??s Kissâ? ist ein relativ frischer Ansatz im Repertoire von HANGING GARDEN: ein schrulliger Gothic-Rock-Song, der als Kollaboration von Toni, Jussi und Jaani Peuhu (SWALLOW THE SUN) entstanden ist. Jaani Ã¼bernahm die Produktion der Gesangsaufnahmen von â??Winterâ??s Kissâ?? und lieh dem Song fÃ¼r viele der Harmonien seine Stimme. Der Clip wurde komplett von Toni Hatakka und Nino Hynninen gedreht und zeigt die talentierte Vera Schneider.â? -

When it comes to the musicality of Hanging Garden, words are only second choice. At least the words that try to describe the songs of this Finnish band and their overall artistic aesthetic. The group's approach to their art is based on emotion. Everything revolves around authenticity, honesty and unreserved openness. All this characterizes "Skeleton Lake", whose progression is often implicit and whose direction of effect is sometimes suggestive. There is no right or wrong here. The connection to the seventh album of the Finns presents itself inevitably. Although the playing of Hanging Garden tends to be gloomy and melancholic, from to time, the songs also seem optimistic or even euphoric. Since Riikka Hatakka joined the band as a permanent vocalist on "Into That Good Night" (2019), the musical picture has partially brightened and, additionally, the sound cosmos of the Finns has broadened noticeably.
