Extra-Infos: .. E Arie Del Secondo Barocco
Description:Virtu E Amore: Sinfonie E Arie Del Secondo Barocco by Ines Lorans, released 4 June 2021. This version of Virtu E Amore: Sinfonie E Arie Del Secondo Barocco comes as a 1xCD. - .. E ARIE DEL SECONDO BAROCCO
Virtue and love might be described as two stars that mark the horizon of the Baroque universe, are mutually complementary and strive to join each other, often also in competition and conflict. The arias selected for this CD, as well as the instrumental pieces, share a very evident underlying theme: virtue and love are more than dominant in them. Virtue is the link between love and the divine. The latter intervenes in the vicissitudes of human beings, helping them to get over grief, oppression, weakness, loss of love and illusion, and bringing them closer to good and truth. From the magnificent aria of the Polyphemus by Nicola Porpora, passing through Vivaldi and Handel to Niccolò Jommelli, the soprano Inés Lorans accompanied by the chamber orchestra "Benedetto Marcello" conducted by Maurizio Colasanti, faces this various florilege of baroque arias in a live recording, completed by two Symphonies by Carlo Tessarini and Francesco Araja.
"Sinfonie und Arien aus dem Spätbarock" is a captivating CD that brings together the refined elegance and expressive power of late Baroque music. Featuring works performed by Inés Lorans, Colasanti, and the Orchestra Benedetto Marcel, this album offers listeners a journey through intricate symphonies and emotive arias characteristic of the period. The selection highlights both well-known masterpieces and hidden gems from composers who shaped the musical landscape between 1680 and 1750. Produced by Tactus, an esteemed Italian label renowned for its dedication to authentic interpretations of classical repertoire, this release stands out for its historical accuracy and sonic clarity. Tactus has built a reputation over decades as a champion of Italian baroque music, frequently collaborating with leading artists in historically informed performance. Inés Lorans is recognized for her luminous soprano voice and nuanced interpretations across European concert halls; she has received critical acclaim at international festivals such as Bachfest Leipzig. Conductor Colasanti brings scholarly insight into Baroque phrasing while guiding the Orchestra Benedetto Marcel?a group celebrated for their vibrant performances?through these evocative scores. Together they have previously garnered awards including "Best Early Music Recording" from specialized critics? associations.
