Dies ist die erste CD-Veröffentlichung, die Rushs Arbeit für alle Labels, für die er bis 1962 aufgenommen hat, präsentiert und einige Titel enthält, die zum ersten Mal auf CD erscheinen. Jasmine Records - I Won't Be Worried No More - Otis Rush's Chicago Blues 1956-1962 ORIGINAL RECORDINGS - Otis Rush was one of the new wave of blues guitarists who came up through the competitive club scene of Chicago during the mid-1950s. - John Mayall in particular was on a mission to promote Rush's music recording, 'All Your Love', 'Double Trouble' and 'So Many Roads' featuring guitarist Peter Green and Eric Clapton. In fact scores of artists went on to revive his songs. These include The Paul Butterfield Band, Aerosmith, and Gary Moore.
Features Otis's work for the Cobra, Chess, and Duke labels he recorded for up until 1962. Several tracks make their first appearance on CD. Includes outtakes from the Cobra sessions (tracks 3 and 4) and a couple unissued Chess recordings (tracks 24 and 25, previously available on Blue Night LP [m2179255] only). Made in the United Kingdom
