Mit diesem Projekt mÃ¶chte Tore Denys zu seinen Wurzeln in Roeselare zurÃ¼ckkehren und einem der grÃ¶Ã?ten Komponisten in der Geschichte Roeselare's huldigen. Zusammen mit den Mitgliedern seines Ensembles Dionysos Now! will er eine Flugbahn planen, um im Jahr 2022 - 460 Jahre nach dem Tod von Adriaan Willaert - eine zeitgenÃ¶ssische Reflexion seiner markantesten Signaturwerke zu haben. FÃ¼r viele ist Adriaan Willaert kein vÃ¶llig Unbekannter, doch sein umfangreiches und vielseitiges Oeuvre taucht nur selten in Konzertprogrammen oder auf CD-Aufnahmen auf. Die relative Unbekanntheit des Oeuvres des flÃ¤mischen, aber weltberÃ¼hmten Polyphonisten ist die Ursache dafÃ¼r, dass man es nicht wagt, seine Namen in einem Atemzug mit denen von Bach, Mozart oder Beethoven zu nennen. Als berÃ¼hmter Komponist und renommierter PÃ¤dagoge versammelte Willaert einen groÃ?en Kreis von SchÃ¼lern und Freunden um sich, sowohl Italiener als auch Flamen und NiederlÃ¤nder, so dass man ihn als "BegrÃ¼nder der venezianischen Schule" bezeichnen kann, ein Beiname, der durchaus berechtigt ist. With this project Tore Denys wants to return to his roots in Roeselare and pay homage to one of the greatest composers in Roeselare's history. Together with the members of his ensemble Dionysos Now!, he wants to plan a trajectory to have a contemporary reflection of his most striking signature works in 2022 - 460 years after the death of Adriaan Willaert. For many, Adriaan Willaert is not a complete stranger, but his extensive and versatile oeuvre rarely appears in concert programs or on album recordings.
