A GrammyÂ® Lifetime Achievement honoree withâ?¯threeâ?¯GrammyÂ® Hall of Fame awards for â??Wichita Lineman,â? â??By The Time I Get To Phoenixâ? and â??Gentle on My Mind,â? the Arkansas-born musician thrilled the beyond capacity crowd with a mix of his hits and definition-expanding songs by his peers and contemporaries. Performing a stunning mix of songs embedded in our DNA (â??Rhinestone Cowboy,â? â??Galvestonâ?) and unexpected jewels from Lou Reed (â??Jesusâ?), Foo Fighters (â??Times Like Theseâ?), Tom Petty (â??Walls (Circus),â? â??Angel Dreamâ?), Paul Westerberg (â??Sadly Beautifulâ?) and Green Dayâ?¯(â??Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)â?), Campbell is in fine voice and demonstrates on more than one song his dexterity, tone and emotional transparency on guitar.
