Am 7. Juli 2001 spielte Rosa Passos zwei Sets im renommierten Copenhagen Jazzhouse. Das Jazzhouse hatte sich in den 1990er Jahren zum besten Jazz-Veranstaltungsort in DÃ¤nemark entwickelt! Wir alle kennen es: diese besondere AtmosphÃ¤re vor Konzertbeginn. Im Copenhagen Jazzhouse kommen viele frÃ¼her. Sie reservieren die besten PlÃ¤tze mit einem KleidungsstÃ¼ck und ziehen sich an die Bar zurÃ¼ck, um ein Bier zu kaufen und ein paar Worte mit Musikern und Freunden zu wechseln, dann kehren sie mit wachsender Vorfreude auf ihren Platz zurÃ¼ck. Einige schauen sich um und stellen fest, dass alle Jazzkritiker anwesend sind. TatsÃ¤chlich scheinen heute Abend alle hier zu sein. In den letzten Minuten wird das Licht gedimmt und die Pausenmusik ausgeschaltet. Lars Thorborg, der Jazzhouse betreibt, betritt die BÃ¼hne und stellt Rosa und die Band vor. Es wird passieren! Die Gruppe kommt unter begeistertem Applaus auf die BÃ¼hne und da ist sie - bei uns, direkt vor uns. Kurzerhand wird das Tempo abgezÃ¤hlt und das Konzert beginnt. Die Bandbesetzung hÃ¤tte nicht besser sein kÃ¶nnen: Fabio Torres am Piano, Paulu Paulelli am Bass, Celso de Almeida am Schlagzeug und natÃ¼rlich Rosa Passos an Gesang und Gitarre. - .. COPENHAGEN

We've all experienced it: that special atmosphere before a concert begins. At Copenhagen Jazzhouse, many come early. They reserve the best seats with a piece of clothing and retreat to the bar to buy a beer and exchange a few words with musicians and friends, then return to their seat, anticipation growing. Some look around and notice that all the jazz critics are in attendance. In fact, it seems everyone is here this evening. In the final minutes, lights are dimmed and the intermission music turned off. Lars Thorborg, who runs Jazzhouse, takes the stage and introduces Rosa and the band. It's about to happen! The group comes on stage to enthusiatic applause and there she is - with us, right before us. With no further ado, the tempo is counted off and the concert begins. The band line-up couldn't have been better: Fabio Torres on piano, Paulu Paulelli on bass, and Celso de Almeida on drums and of course Rosa Passos on vocals and guitar.
