"Technical Ecstasy (Super Deluxe)" is an expansive CD box set by the legendary heavy metal band Black Sabbath, released by Sanctuary. The package offers fans an immersive experience into one of Black Sabbath?s most experimental periods, showcasing their willingness to push musical boundaries beyond traditional heavy metal.
Black Sabbath are widely regarded as pioneers of heavy metal music. Formed in Birmingham in 1968 with members Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward, they have influenced countless artists across genres with albums like "Paranoid," "Master of Reality," and "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath." Their dark riffs and powerful lyrics helped define a genre; they were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2006.
Sanctuary Records is known for its dedication to preserving classic rock heritage while supporting innovative releases from iconic bands. With decades-long expertise in curating high-quality reissues and special editions for collectors worldwide, Sanctuary ensures that each release meets exceptional standards both sonically and visually.
Technical Ecstasy, while definitely not as good as the 6 great albums which preceded it, is still a very decent and interesting record.

For me, the flawless BS ended with the album Sabotage. But, in fairness, I must say that this album contains several stunning compositions and is certainly worthy of close attention. Plus a good sound and a luxury edition!
