Description:
Mizik Bo Kail is a venture that owes it's existence to the meeting between musician-producer Alain Marlin and the late singer and percussionist Georges Fordant. The result of their encounter is this collective, which continues to enrich the prodigious musical heritage of Martinique in all it's color. The band's material (bèlè dance numbers, beguines and waltzes) continues to focus on social issues, and the lyrics are contemporary. The result is worthy of the group's mentors, namely Malavoi, Eugène Mona or Dédé Saint Prix. Poker Production, together with Couleurs Music Publishing and Frémeaux & Associés, have associated to bring you this fine retrospective of mizik that contains 2 previously unreleased titles as a bonus.
