English Yuriy P. - 2022年 01月 13日 5 满分 5 颗星!
Oh, how bizarre your curves are, fate. How many-toothed ironic grin! Here you are, young, naive, full of bad energy and singing about "but I will not fight - I will be more beautiful". Thirteen years pass, and it turns out that you will still be "at war" - on the fronts of the First World War, around the history and mythology of which the group's creativity paradigm of 1914 is wrapped with barbed wire. the ranks of the real regiments of the Austro-Hungarian army. Why Austria-Hungary? Just take a look at the political map of Europe in the early twentieth century and where Lemberg (Lvov) is located on it. At the same time, the events described in the lyrics are by no means limited to one theater of military operations. Fantasy 1914 quite freely transfers us from Sarajevo to Verdun, and from Galicia to the Far East. Nevertheless, each composition is valuable in itself, telling a logical and complete story. And in general, from the texts of the group, I learned much more about the First World War than from history lessons at school. It would be very nice if we, young and bloodthirsty, were told there about such persons as the same Philip Konoval (a Canadian of Ukrainian origin, the only Knight of the Victoria Cross of Eastern European origin, the owner of the highest award for courage in the face of the enemy, which can be awarded to military personnel countries of the British Commonwealth of Nations)
