On APART Allen Stone reimagines some of his most beloved songs to date, stripping each back to the essence of it's creation. The result is both an ideal showcase for his powerful, emotive voice and a testament to the magic within Stone's artistry: a profound understanding of music's potential to imprint upon our lives. APART features 11 songs pulled from across Stone's catalog-and one exquisite Bob Marley cover. Alessia Cara joins for a duet on "Bed I Made", a song she has previously covered.

Apart features stripped-down arrangements of songs from Stone's previous records: 2011's Allen Stone, 2015's Radius and 2019's Building The Balance. The album also includes a cover of Bob Marley's "Is This Love," and a duet arrangement of "Bed I Made" featuring R&B artist Alessia Cara. Apart was recorded at Washington's Bear Creek Studios during the COVID-19 pandemic with Grammy-nominated producer Ryan Hadlock (The Lumineers, Brandi Carlile, Vance Joy).
