The first mainstream release of Francis Monkman's solo career is nearly 20 years. A celebrated collection of organ pieces featuring the compositions of Bach and his family members. With liner notes from Francis detailing the background and history of the recordings and the creation of the album. Francis Monkman is an English rock, classical and film score composer, and a founding member of both the progressive rock band Curved Air and the classical/rock fusion band Sky. Since moving on the rock genre, he has been giving organ recitals around Germany and working with the Bach- Stammhaus to record the works of Bach and his family members for this album.
