CAM Sugar presents Fellini's milestone AMARCORD - carefully restored and remastered from the original master tapes and featuring 15 tracks previously unreleased on vinyl. AMARCORD won an Academy Award in 1974 as Best Foreign Film and received two nominations for Best Director and Best Screenplay. The sweet and evocative music by Nino Rota takes the listener on a journey through the places of Fellini's boyhood in Rimini, creating a combination of music and images that is still appreciated today.Fellini's Amarcord is a commemorative and expanded reissue of the soundtrack to the famous 1973 film by Federico Fellini. This iconic album featuring music by Nino Rota is now presented for the first time as a double-album on vinyl (180 grams), with a gatefold cover. The album has been meticulously restored, reworked and recorded from the original master tapes.
Also in this release, in addition to the traditional 12 tracks, 15 tracks have been added that have not been released before. It includes a 30 x 75 cm illustrated poster with original art by Giuliano Geleng and reproductions of sheet music by Nino Rota.
This special reissue of a classic by Nino Rota is timed to coincide with his 110th birthday.
