The release of his most recent, second solo album "Surrounded" at the end of May 2021 (Top 20 in Germany, #8 Independent UK Album Charts) also saw the re-release of Sullivanâ??s 2003 debut solo album â??Navigating by the Starsâ?, that was unavailable for many years. Described by The Independent as having â??the warm organic quality of Van Morrisonâ??s Astral Weeksâ?, the audio of this new version has not been altered but carries two additional tracks: â??Sooner or Laterâ??, which first appeared on a B-side in 2003, and â??Wreck of The Essexâ??, a song written and recorded later that same year and has laid dormant ever since but for a few live performances. Together with the launch of â??Surroundedâ?, â??Navigating by the Starsâ? became available digitally and, for the first time ever, on vinyl. In addition, the CD Digisleeve Reissue Edition with an expanded booklet was part of a strictly limited CD Box-Set Edition of â??Surroundedâ?. Now â??Navigating by the Starsâ? will be heading back to stores as a CD standalone release.
