Yuriy P. - 13/Apr/2024 5 of 5 Stars!
The beginning of the 90s was generally a bad time for thrash - the last truly masterpiece discs came out, and many bands completely retrained and started playing heavy metal (I won’t point a finger, but, for example, Metallica), and Exodus, just as they were cutting down thrash, continued to do so on his fourth album. And it turned out well, I must say. This release is a very worthy successor to “Fabulous Disaster”, the same fast, mind-blowing songs, again no “snot”, only speed, pressure and aggression. True, it’s not as powerful and well-made as on its predecessor, but shaking it with hair will also do. The disadvantages of the album include the crap quality of the recording (and this is after “Fabulous Disaster”, where there are no quibbles with the recording at all. The rhythm guitar sounds somehow clumsy and unnatural, as if it was put through some kind of filter. All the riffs are very similar , thanks to this, the songs are very similar, and they can only be distinguished by vocals, which is not good.
