XASTHUR's 2001 release "A Gate through Bloodstained Mirrors" is nonetheless the band's debut full-length with over 70 minutes playing time that stylistically lead the way towards their unique style, which is often described as "depressive black metal" due to its low key, solemn passages that are sharply contrasted by harsh outbreaks of rage. - .. "A Gate Through the Bloodstained Mirrors" is the full-length release of US Depressive/Suicidal Black Metal masters Xasthur from 2001. The album, which was only released once on vinyl in 2004, has been in great demand since many years and is now reissued on vinyl at last. "A Gate..." is available as gatefold 2LP (180g) with padded inner sleeves and protection sleeve on black vinyl

Black vinyl edition (300 copies). Comes in a gatefold jacket and includes two black poly-lined inner-sleeves. Originally recorded during 2000 and 2001, remixed in 2003 with bonus tracks and rehearsal version of some tracks. Tracks A1, C5 and D3 are instrumental.
