Back To The Moon is an album by Thomas De Pourquery & Supersonic, released in 2021. Recorded in July 2020 at the Parisian studio â??Question de Sonâ?, captured under live conditions but fine-tuned in post-production and mixing, â??Back To The Moonâ? takes off on the introductory Take-Off, then takes its cruising speed with â??Joyâ? who suggests the serenity of an interstellar orbit, on a melody to be compared - without doing it on purpose - to the theme of John Williams for ET, the extraterrestrial of Steven Spielberg. Follows â??Back To The Moonâ? the moon landing after which the crew seems to pick up the radio frequencies of a bebop theme. Interspersed by three miniatures where butterflies flutter.
