"Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You" is the acclaimed 2022 album by American indie folk band Big Thief, presented here in CD format. Across 20 tracks, the album showcases Big Thief's signature blend of poetic lyricism and genre-blurring soundscapes, weaving elements of folk, rock, country, and experimental music into a cohesive journey. The band's introspective songwriting and raw musicianship have earned them widespread critical praise and a devoted global following. Since their debut in 2016, Big Thief has been nominated for multiple Grammy Awards and celebrated for albums like "U.F.O.F." and "Two Hands". This release comes from renowned label 4AD/Beggars Group/Indigo?an influential force in independent music since the late '70s. Known for nurturing groundbreaking artists such as Cocteau Twins, Pixies, The National, and more recently Future Islands or Aldous Harding, these labels are synonymous with artistic innovation.
In my 15 years of listening to music i have never felt this way for an album that i get to listen the day that's been released. My english vocabulary is definitely way too limited to explain what this album already means to me. I love this band, i love this album, can't wait for everything they do till the end of times and if i may borrow a phrase about this album that made me smile: ''you'd have to be so cold-hearted to hate this''. So real, so soulful, so beautiful, everything that i like in music and in arts i found it here.
