Live In Colorado enthÃ¤lt Songs, die bei den Live-Auftritten im historischen Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado und im Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail 2021 aufgenommen wurden. Das Album ist Weirs erste VerÃ¶ffentlichung bei dem von Jack White gegrÃ¼ndeten Independent-Label Third Man Records und enthÃ¤lt eine Sammlung von Songs, die bei den Auftritten des Ensembles im Sommer 2021 im historischen Red Rocks Park & Amphitheater in Morrison (6./7. Juni) und im Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail (11./12. Juni) aufgenommen wurden. Die vier Abende in Colorado waren die ersten Live-Auftritte des Ensembles mit Weir, Bassist Don Was, Schlagzeuger Jay Lane und dem kÃ¼rzlich hinzugekommenen Keyboarder Jeff Chimenti (Dead & Company) seit mehr als einem Jahr. Bei den Shows traten auch Greg Leisz an der Pedal Steel sowie The Wolfpack auf: Alex Kelly (Cello), Brian Switzer (Trompete), Adam Theis (Posaune), Mads Tolling (Violine) und Sheldon Brown (Holzblasinstrumente). Weir erklÃ¤rt: "Ich habe in meiner Freizeit daran gearbeitet, die klangliche FÃ¤rbung der Songs, die ich mache, zu erweitern. Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros: Live In Colorado is out February 18 on Third Man Records--their debut with the label. This is the first volume of a two-volume collection on vinyl and the second volume will be available later in 2022.

Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros: Live In Colorado features a collection of songs recorded at the band's live performances at the historic Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado and the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail, Colorado on June 8, 9, 11, 12, 2021. These shows were the group's first live audience concerts in over a year and featured Greg Leisz on pedal steel, along with The Wolfpack: Alex Kelly, Brian Switzer, Adam Theis, Mads Tolling and Sheldon Brown. «Been too long,» Weir said of the performances, «but I can't think of a better place to pick it back up...»
