Gershwin Country is a brand-new duets collection from the GRAMMYÂ® and Emmy-nominated entertainer, Michael Feinstein, who reimagines the classic songs of George and Ira Gershwin through the contemporary lens of country music. Executive produced by his longtime friend and collaborator, Liza Minnelli, and co-produced by the venerable Kyle Lehning, the album pairs Feinstein with some of the biggest names in country music, including Dolly Parton, Alison Krauss, Brad Paisley, Rosanne Cash and many more. The CD package also includes a booklet with insightful new liner notes. A portion of all album proceeds will benefit MusiCaresÂ®, the charitable wing of The Recording AcademyÂ®, which provides critical health and welfare services to members of the music community. -
