Wallis Bird is a Berlin-based Irish singer-songwriter and musician. ?Hands? is her seventh album and sees her writing about something that has affected her whole life - her hands. A devastating accident as a child resulted in the loss of five fingers. ?Hands? tells of her experiences of learning to live with the changes in her typically honest way. Musically she combines a number of styles and genres including folk, leftfield pop and rock. Recorded between 4th December and 27th October 2021 in: Philipp's Studio, Wendland Wallis' Studio, Berlin Marcus' studio, Kleine Audiowelt / Alte Zigarrenfabrik, Sandhausen Studio Wong, Berlin Sam Vance-Law's Studio, Berlin Field recordings captured over the course of lockdown from March 2020
