About tstewart: Travis Stewart, better known as Machinedrum, is an American electronic record producer and performer from North Carolina. He is also known as Syndrone and tstewart. He is one half of Sepalcure, with Praveen Sharma, one half of JETS, with Jimmy Edgar, as well as half of Dream Continuum with Jim Coles, a.k.a. Om Unit. Heâ??s currently based in LA. In downtown Los Angeles, thereâ??s a set of concrete stairs. Beginning in the valley in Echo Park and ascending up a hill, they introduce an awe-inducing paradise. This is Elysian Park. Home to palm trees, countless birds and undisturbed layers of luscious greenery, it was the initial inspiration for the new record from Machinedrumâ??s tstewart project â?? a 16 track album titled elysian. - AKA MACHINEDRUM

Tstewart/Machinedrum - "elysian" - Elysian Park is a slice of unaffected paradise found in downtown Los Angeles. Home to countless birds and (what feels like) infinite layers of greenery, the park plays the role of muse for tstewart's new album, elysian. With each track named after his favorite nooks, tstewart likens his crescendos to the grand, never-ending steps found just before the park. As the new project from Machinedrum, tstewart presents a diverse, piano-led sound that juxtaposes his previous glitchy, pop-fused work.
