First time on CD / Newly Remastered / BANDIT released two albums with different line-ups. BANDIT's debut BANDIT was released in late 1976. This album featured Jim Diamond on lead vocals, Danny McIntosh Jr on guitar, future AC/DC bassist Cliff Williams, James Litherland, and drummer Graham Broad, now of Roger Waters' band. A single entitled "Ohio" was also released. The bassist Cliff Williams joined UK rockers BANDIT for their self-titled 1976 release before landing an audition with AC/DC a year later following the firing of Mark Evans shortly after recording 1977's "Let There Be Rock." Williams debuted with AC/DC on the tour in support of the album as he settled into a new life in Australia.
"Bandit" is a self-titled album by the British rock band Bandit, released in CD format. Known for their melodic blend of classic and hard rock with catchy hooks, Bandit made an impact on the late 1970s music scene. The group featured musicians who would go on to play significant roles in other major acts; notably, guitarist Danny McIntosh later joined Kate Bush?s touring band. Their debut album showcases tight songwriting and energetic performances that reflect the vibrant UK rock landscape of its era. Released by Bad Reputation / Cargo, this label is renowned for reissuing hidden gems from classic rock and metal history, ensuring legendary albums are accessible to new generations of fans.
