Stars, drive, and heart: With this project, drummer and bandleader Wolfgang Haffner has created his personal dream line-up of musicians with whom he has collaborated since decades: Randy Brecker, Nils Landgren, Bill Evans and Christopher Dell. And Haffner's current, young trio with pianist Simon Oslender and bassist Thomas Stieger, builds the perfect foundation for the music. The band played a celebrated tour in late 2021 that took place in a short "Corona break". And musicians' sheer joy of playing together and the excitement of the audience in experiencing this can be heard in every note of the live recording.
