Produced by Jerry Wexler, the album was scrapped at the time and was only released on CD in 1992 and in this complete form in 2006 on the The Complete Atlantic Sessions. So, over two nights and four sets, Willie and Family were recorded in front of the best audiences to play off of, at "The Texas Opry House" in Willie's backyard, Austin, Texas. I had only been playing in the band for a year, but we had done close to 300 shows honing the sound.
