Description:Newly remastered and expanded edition of â??Bright Cityâ??, the classic solo album by guitarist and vocalist Miller Anderson. Remastered from the original master tapes and featuring an additional six bonus tracks previously unreleased on CD. Includes a session for BBC Radio Oneâ??s Sounds Of The â??70s show recorded in September 1971. With restored original album artwork including an illustrated booklet with new essay. Miller Anderson is a highly respected musician who came to major prominence as vocalist and guitarist with Keef Hartley Band upon their formation in 1968. Signing to Deccaâ??s Deram label, the band recorded a series of albums which embraced, jazz, blues and rock influences and enjoyed success as one of the great British bands of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Following the release of the album â??Overdogâ?? in the Spring of 1971, Miller embarked on recording his first solo album, â??Bright Cityâ??. The album would see Anderson embrace folk influences alongside the more familiar styles associated with his work as part of the Hartley band. The result was a fine and inspiring record. -
