What did our first band info say? ""The moment when the mime gets tripped and lands his face in the clown's cake before he can throw it, that's TRIXSI."" Something like that anyway. That's actually true, except for the pantomime thing. TRIXSI are too loud for that. And the thing with the clown honestly only fits on this Mechenbier, this front clown, this roaring stage boulette. TRIXSI are difficult to put into words, but otherwise easy to grasp. Nothing more and nothing less happened here than the normal magic that you can mix up with a handful of friends in a pot called a ""band"". Here a little ingenuity is concentrated and a lot of eye for what has already been accomplished and made sense with a high degree of creativity. Tires are flattened here instead of trying to reinvent wheels. No one is afraid or stressed here anymore. Buck all the more. Joy drips from every pore and drips onto the floor, while the band members shake their heads in sync: about the state of this world, human interaction in general and the music industry in particular. The band from Hamburg plays both with the functional, trained moments of their previous musical lives and with the freedom that the omission of tonal and thematic concepts such as HERRENMAGAZIN, FINDUS and LOVE A now makes possible. When you listen to it you suddenly think of WEEZER and the EAGLES, while there are still some punk rock posters hanging on the wall in the rehearsal room. Anything that pleases is allowed. And here we like each other. One shouts Prost, everyone else nods. Who the fuck has never been before? Where the fun ends with German rock music, TRIXSI are just beginning.
