Brazilian guitarist from SÃ£o Paulo, Brazil. Studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London with a full scholarship funded by the Brazilian Ministry of Education. PlÃnioâ??s debut album â??Saudadeâ?? is a love letter to Brazil and presents PlÃnioâ??s two passions: the popular songs of Brazil/Latin America, and the classical tradition of Villa-Lobos. Guest artists include Maria Rita, Sheku Kanneh-Mason, and Braimah Kanneh-Mason. Most songs were arranged â?? some for the very first time for classical guitar â?? by SÃ©rgio Assad (of the legendary Assad Brothers guitar duo).
