Description:The highly acclaimed and now legendary debut album from DARKANE was originally released in 1999. The band had only existed for seven months when they recorded "Rusted Angel" at Dug Out Productions with producer Daniel Bergstrand. At first, DARKANE wanted to play a mix between Gothenburg metal and Florida death metal styles, but while recording they started to experiment mixing growls and melodic vocals; something that was new to this genre and would be very popular within the near future.Upon the release, "Rusted Angel" got great reviews in magazines all over the world. The German Rock Hard magazine awarded it first place in their soundcheck section while Dutch Aardschok mag awarded it second place. - BLUE VINYL
