San Francisco-based blues vocalist/guitarist Zanne Mack delivers high-powered, raw, from-the-gut music on her new self-titled CD "Zanne." Her life experiences are reflected in her performance of eleven songs included here, nine of which are original. Her support team consists of some of Chicago's most experienced and treasured musicians, including bassist Michael Morrison (who has performed with Willie Dixon, Luther Allison), drummer Brian Jones (James Cotton, Otis Rush), keyboardist John Chorney (Robert Covington, Big Time Sara) and guitarist Pistol Pete (Full Throttle Band, Savoy Brown). Zanne has opened for and/or performed with Koko Taylor, Hank Williams Jr.., Marshall Tucker Band, Harvey Mandel and many others.
