Magician by Magician, released 1 July 2022, includes the following tracks: "Playground", "Musk" and more. This version of Magician comes as a 1xLP. The vinyl is pressed as a opaque disc. -

Vinyl LP pressing. Rare, high-grade Brit jazz-fusion sleaze from 1979, reissued for the first time with a wink and nudge by TrunkPlaying deep into Trunk's core interests - obscure, kinky, full of flavour, cracking jacket, slept on at the time - Magician's sole, eponymous album ticks all the boxes, and then some. Revolving a crack squad of performers including Barry Morgan and the legendary Barbara Thompson, and first pressed by Stan Butcher's Hobo Records, copies have remained scarce on the second hand market but Jonny Trunk managed to snaffle one up and here it is; six tracks of lowdown jazz-fusion hustle peppered with brooding, modal and psych-funky licks, but always contained in-the-pocket.
