Finn ist das erste Album von The Finn Brothers, einem Musikprojekt der neuseelÃ¤ndischen BrÃ¼der Tim und Neil Finn. Das Album wurde von Tchad Blake und den Finn Brothers in Auckland, Neuseeland, produziert. Die Finn Brothers sind ein neuseelÃ¤ndisches Musikerduo, bestehend aus den BrÃ¼dern Neil und Tim Finn. Im Juni 1993 wurden beide Mitglieder mit dem OBE fÃ¼r ihren Beitrag zur Musik ausgezeichnet. Die beiden BrÃ¼der begannen schon in jungen Jahren gemeinsam Musik zu machen; spÃ¤ter, als Neil 18 Jahre alt war, wurde er eingeladen, zusammen mit seinem Ã¤lteren Bruder Tim bei Split Enz mitzumachen. Neil schrieb spÃ¤ter einen der grÃ¶Ã?ten Hits der Band, "I Got You". Tim verÃ¶ffentlichte sein erstes Soloalbum Escapade, bevor er Split Enz verlieÃ?, und die Band lÃ¶ste sich kurz darauf auf. Neil grÃ¼ndete seine eigene Gruppe, Crowded House, und nahm anschlieÃ?end zwei Soloalben auf, nachdem sich Crowded House 1996 aufgelÃ¶st hatte. Er reformierte Crowded House im Jahr 2007 und hat seitdem drei Alben verÃ¶ffentlicht. Neil und Tim haben auch eine Reihe von separaten Soloalben verÃ¶ffentlicht. -

Needle Mythology reissues a special expanded album edition of Finn, the album by New Zealand's most celebrated musical siblings Tim and Neil Finn, to acclaim both from critics and longtime fans. This is the first time Finn has received a vinyl release. Released in close collaboration with Tim and Neil, the newly expanded Finn comes with an entire album, The Finn Demos, which gathers together ten songs from 1989's legendary Murchison St. Sessions, remastered by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios. Convening at Neil's new Melbourne apartment with a view to making an album together, Tim and Neil embarked on an intensely productive period, writing several songs that would briefly result in Tim joining Crowded House for the resulting Woodface album.

Recorded & mixed at York St. Studios, Auckland, New Zealand, November '94 & March '95.
