Description:Above the Arctic Circle, a-ha recorded their 1st collection of new songs since 2015â??s Cast in Steel: True North is a letter from a-ha, and a poem from the far north of Norway. Accompanied by a film, the album combines the bandâ??s visions & the talent of Norwegian orchestra Arctic Philharmonic to weave a narrative reminding us of our collective connection to the environment. This multimedia experience with a powerful narrative is unique for a-ha. For True North, a-ha decided on a new approach. Their first collection of new songs since 2015â??s Cast In Steel is more than a straightforward album â?? and unique for a-ha. While True North is a new album, it is also a film capturing a-ha recording the songs during November 2021 in Bodø, the Norwegian city located 90km above the Arctic Circle. â??With every album we tweak it, to see if thereâ??s a different way to go about it,â? explains Paul. With what at once is their 11th studio album and also a very immediate document of its creation, a-ha have entered a new world. â??First, we had the idea to record a studio session live,â? says Paul. â??Then, to film a studio session. That grew into more of a production with the Norwegian orchestra, the Arctic Philharmonic, who we have collaborated with. The eleventh studio album by Norwegian band A-ha. It was released on 21 October 2022. The album debuted at number 12 on the UK Albums Chart. I recommend.

Jewel Case Packaging. There are no innovations. It's still the same a-ha band from the '80s. That case where you don't wait nearly 40 years for new revelations. Only for fans of the band.
